I have never met nor been a "homecoming queen". It's a term I first came familiar with as a kid through a Playstation 2 humming on my floor of my living room playing Daydream Believer by The Monkees - when it was fashionable as a pre-pubescent girl to have one and when the term "singstar" was a badge worn like armour if the karaoke game of the same title was ever to knight you as one.
